Advertising pays for the basic maintenance of PulmCCM, but doesn’t come close to covering the expenses to get to the next level. Projected expenses for 2013 include $10,000 in authors’ fees, $6,000 in app development and thousands more obtaining CME affiliation.
If you find this service valuable, will you support us with your contribution? Journal subscriptions cost $150-300 yearly each; we’re asking less, and you might say we’re offering more.
Use your institutional CME allowance. Many CME allowances will cover non-CME generating activities (like textbooks, and this website). For contributions $100 or more, we will provide you a receipt for your total yearly contributions to PulmCCM.org, which you can submit for reimbursement from your institution. If you are not reimbursed by your institution, or you are otherwise dissatisfied for any reason, we will refund all your contributions for that year — no questions asked.
